Welcome back to Techno Takeover! This week in Episode 002, we bring you some very special selections fresh off the monstrous ADE festival in the Netherlands, where the Techno showing was stronger than ever. Between Carl Cox’s Global 500 celebration, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode party, and many many others, crowds of dedicated fans were able take in the experience of a lifetime.
Featured tracks for this week:
Ben Sims – “I Wanna Go Back” (ft. Blake Baxter) : A 2011 Drumcode label release, this track has a purely infectious groove that won’t let you stop dancing no matter where you are.
Alan Fitzpatrick – “Corruption” : No surprises here. Fitzpatrick’s dark Techno in this track is a staple of the Drumcode feeling that is well known to enthusiasts of the genre.
Adam Beyer & Alan Fitzpatrick – “Human Reason” : It’s clear at this point that Fitzpatrick never seems to disappoint anyone following the Drumcode scene, this time teaming up with label owner and fellow DJ/Producer, Adam Beyer, on this killer track.
Gary Beck – “Algoreal” : Hot off the presses, Gary Beck delivers this fresh new track for 2012, taking dance floors by force.
Slam – “Area 51″ : The A-side of Slam’s 2011 release, this track is a clean, rolling, synth-horn led assault of crystallised hi-hats and half breakdowns that just begs to be danced to.
