Phase one lineup of the 2nd annual Electric Daisy Carnival in New York is out!
We are very excited and impressed by the diverse lineup that encompasses legends within the entire spectrum of electronic sound, from tech house to progressive. Big room names that we’re most excited for include Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Cosmic Gate, Dash Berlin, ATB, Gareth Emery, Porter Robinson, Afrojack, Morgan Page and Calvin Harris. We are surprised and happy to see some non-EDM acts on the bill too including the wacky and talented Empire of the Sun and the beautiful La Roux. The EDC New York lineup captures the magic within every EDM genre for this epic two-day celebration.
Insomniac will transform the grounds of Citi Field into a fully immersive and multi-sensory festival experience for dance music fans with theatrical performers, including fire twirlers, aerialists and stilt walkers, interactive large-scale art installations, full-size amusement rides and state-of-the-art lighting and sound production.
This unique music festival will take place at Citi Field May 17 and 18, 2013, and will feature world-renowned electronic acts and more than 60 artists and theatrical performers for a weekend of music and art. For the second year in a row, Insomniac will be working with RPM Worldwide, the team behind Pacha New York, as the local partner for the festival.
