StopBreatheBump has been fortunate enough to document many incredible events at Pacha NYC this year. But when a member of the Swedish House Mafia comes to town, all hell breaks loose! The energy was outstanding and the overall vibe at the club was upbeat and ecstatic for what we were all about to experience.
Alesso started off around midnight and was absolutely incredible. The opening acts at Pacha have always been high-quality, talented DJs, but none that we have seen so far have matched the show Alesso dished out. His energy, unique selection of tunes and raw energizing beats picked the crowd up instantly and he kept it at 100 for the remainder of his set. Beat after beat, he was stealing our attention and focus from what we thought was going to be the better set, ie, Sebastians. But, Alesso knows he needs to make a name for himself so he steals the show and straight up crushes the speakers. He is a star in the making, and he’s creating his own brand of style. Let us make one thing clear, he certainly will be a top ranked DJ soon. He truly impressed us and the rest of the fantastic people at Pacha that night. This 19 year old put on a show that would be tough for anyone to follow, even for a seasoned veteran like Ingrosso.

That being said, Ingrosso has vast experience and a shocking amount of skill, which allows for more creativity when he’s on the 1′s and 2′s. This ability and confidence allows the DJ to be more expressive and allows for a journey into the mind of the Swedish House Mafia. This musical journey leaves you speechless, smiling and awe strucken. He laid down beautiful melodic tunes and also dark, nasty, sexy bangers, basically a perfect combination! His tangy swedish flair is just beautiful, plain and simple.
We would like to thank Pacha, Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso for providing yet another top class evening in one of the best citys in the world. We then hopped on a plane to travel to Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas representing StopBreatheBump.com and got to see all three swedes on Sunday, June 26th in action!! So stay tuned for that review as well.. Cheers
