Progressive House DJ John Digweed makes his Marquee debut this Friday, and we’re now just a few nights away from the highly anticipated event.  The show is already sold out but we are happy to announce that there are a limited number of late-night tickets on sale now – good for entry after2am at Marquee – get yours now on RA (CLICK HERE!) before they are gone!  There is also a very special Bedrock giveaway – including John’s new Miami Underground 3 CD and a Bedrock T-Shirt – to enter, email info@basicnyc.com and share your favorite Digweed set or moment. You can also RSVP to marquee@basicnyc.com  for guest list or to make a table reservation.  As always, Marquee residents Sleepy & Boo will support Digweed’s set, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us on this special occasion.

Our favorite venue, Marquee NY, will also host legend Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren’s all-night B2B (get tix here) next Friday, and a special Saturday return from MARCO CAROLA on Saturday March 22nd – click here to cop your tickets now! Hernan is one of our favorite artists, with a unique Progressive/Tribal/Minimal Techno sound that hypnotizes any crowd worldwide.  Check out our review of Cattaneo’s mind-blowing set last February at Marquee NY here to get a taste for the magic that’s in store for us all next week.  See you bumpers on the dance floor!

RL Grime & What So Not: Tell Me [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Henry Steinway (aka RL Grime) has really made a name for himself in the bass and trap world within the past few years. After his debut EP Grapes in 2012, his High Beams EP released one year later topped iTunes Electronic Charts and made Billboard’s top 10 Dance/Electronic albums. He toured with Baauer after their collab  “Infinite Daps” and has given us numerous remixes to get us Turnt up (including his amazing remix of Benny Benassi‘s classic “Satisfaction“.)

Now he teamed up with What So Not, an Australian duo responsible for the highly-remixed electronic track “High You Are“. One half of the duo is one of our favorites, Flume, and the other is dj Emoh Instead. Most notable for their remix of Major Lazer’s “Get Free“, What So Not has been gaining recognition for their soothing melodic beats. Take these shiver-inducing melodies and mix in some RL Grime drops, and you get one dirty track – and lucky us, the boys have given us a FREE DOWNLOAD of “Tell Me”.
