New York Fashion Week kick started last Thursday with banger after banger from the legendary Benny Benassi on the decks of Lavo NYC, one of the most premiere clubs in Manhattan.  The crowd was looking especially glamorous, and all the Beautiful People were thirsty for not only the top class cocktails but the grade A beats from Milan’s reigning DJ superstar.  The 45-year old producer absolutely dazzled his New York audience with his own signature brand of House musica, taking us back to Satisfaction and pushing us forward with unreleased ID tracks.  Benassi dropped his new track “Ghost” with Pink Is Punk featuring Bright Lights, his remix of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “Jammin”, as well as his mix of Dido’s “No Freedom”.  He proves that there is no limit to where electronic music can go, touching all genres and shocking critics worldwide with his daring versatility.  Benny boy always brings such infectious energy and feel good vibes to each of his shows, and when he dropped his Rolling Stones remix “Doom and Gloom”…there wasn’t a face without a smile in the house
