[EVENT REVIEW] Anjunabeats New York 1/27/18

Last Saturday we had the pleasure of joining our Anjuna family at Barclay Center for Above and Beyond’s Common Ground tour stop in Brooklyn, NY.  With support from the brilliant Yotto, and legendary Andrew Bayer, this was one of our favorite Above and Beyond shows of all time.

Barclays is an incredible venue, and they don’t oversell the floor so there is plenty of room for dancing.  With a beautiful mix of old and new monster tracks, the ground exploded with one of the best dance parties we’ve experienced.  It’s always an amazing crowd at Above and Beyond shows, and this was no exception.  We can’t express how much we love the new album, Common Ground.  Some of our favorite new tracks off the album are “Naked”, “Cold Feet”, and “Sahara Love”.  In true A&B fashion, all the lyrics are meaningful and the beats are triumphant (regardless of whether or not the lyrics are happy or sad).  There is power in positivity, and A&B has an abundance of this force.  Oh yea, and did we mention that they brought just a FEW lasers to the occasion?!

The after party was at Schimanski, with Andrew Bayer and Spencer Brown as our guides for the late night/early morning fun.  We danced deep into the night to some of the grooviest tracks.  The club was packed, and everyone had a smile on their face.

Thank you, Anjunabeats, for an enchanting evening with our Anjuna Amigos.  We will be counting down the days for your return to the City That Never Sleeps.
