Bananas, champagne, and some seriously catchy electro took over Lavo NYC on July 7th as the crazy Swedish duo, Dada Life, got on around 12:30 .Opening with “Be Satisfaction (Swedish House Mafia Bootleg)”, Olle and Stefan did not disappoint and kept the energy level to a maximum the entire night. Mixing in their well known upbeat electro favorites like “White Noise-Red Meat and “Unleash the Motherfucking Dada” in with tons of crowd pleasers including “The Island Part 2 (Angello, AN21 and Max Vangeli Remix)”, “Nothing but Love”, and “Turbulence”. The crowd went crazy when they busted out the huge inflatable banana and champagne bottle while dropping their amazing spin off the Benny Benassi classic “Satisfaction”. Their version, “Just Bleep Me”, took the energy to a whole another level as confetti and CO2 blasted down on the mass of party goers who all were “Doing the Dada”. Lavo was a great place to see these crazies as it never disappoints with its intimate setting and great sound system. It was quite the treat to see this big sound, big venue duo do their best to not jump through the low Lavo ceiling while going B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Dada Life is making a huge mark on the electro world and their live performance is a main reason why. These guys BRING IT.
