When we think of the Swedish House Mafia, we think of pyro displays, CO2 guns, wild parties and, most vivid amongst all conjured associations: straight up FUN. These guys have shown us how to truly throw down all while coining a signature sound hit after hit – Now they are at it again with the release of their latest and last album ‘Until Now.’
The album kicks off with ‘Greyhound’ which immediately gets the ball rolling and brings us right back to Absolut’s private warehouse party during WMC last year in Miami. Next up – ’In My Mind’ is a song so catchy and popular that even KIA motors featured it in their newest commercial. When you can maintain the balance between super cool & commercial, you are doing something right, and SHM has that combo down to a science. ‘Calling’ has been a huge track of 2012 as well and like the rest of these songs they somehow don’t grow old or get lost in our iTunes. Rather this tracklist of heavy hitting tunes that have been the soundtrack to our lives transports through time and space back those special moments that each and every one of us has shared with them and those closest to us truly invoking the swedes signature line “We Came, We Raved, We LOVED.”
