What’s good everyone, my name is Chris Garafola. I began writing my first music blog, Stop Breathe Listen, in May of 2010 with no expectations–all I knew was I loved music. Stop Breathe Listen showcases today’s best-unsigned artists from all over the world. It has even been ranked #1 on Google search for the place to find the “best unsigned artists”. It’s surreal to see how much the blog has developed in such little time.

I started my music career as a professional DJ at the age of 14 and performed at various venues in and around New England. While attending college at The University of Vermont, I was a member of the acclaimed coed a cappella group, The UVM Hit Paws. Despite The Hit Paws immense time commitment, I still immersed myself in tons of side projects. I was always linking up with local artists and performing at open mics all around the city. I even had the opportunity to grace the stage with the talented Talib Kweli. While at UVM, I also linked up with the popular nightclub “Lift” where I would host my own successful events called “Europhoria”–a tech/house party that always packed hundreds of attendees.

I’ve also had the opportunity to interview amazing artists such as Jason Derulo, Miguel and many others. I’m growing with every new endeavor I partake in and every new experience is more humbling than the next.

Plain and simple, music is my passion, my love and my oxygen and i’m grateful to have the opportunity to share it with all of you. Music=Love..Love=Life

Kyrie Jay Weiss- Co-Founder, Editor, Writer - Stop Breathe Bump

Holla, my name is Kyrie Jay Weiss.. My grandfather, George David Weiss, was a famous songwriter who gave us timeless classics such as What a Wonderful World, Can’t Help Falling In Love, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, and many, many more.. so music is undoubtedly in my blood. After helping Chris post songs to Stop Breathe Listen, we decided we wanted to add a little more juice & intensity to the track selection and create a new, EDM-focused site called Stop Breathe BUMP…and here we are! I grew up playing the violin & viola and absolutely loved playing in a big orchestra. Creating beautiful music with hundreds of other kids was a feeling that can only be replicated today at live shows or when blasting an amazing track so loud it gives me goosebumps.. After all, goosebumps don’t lie right? This is what we’ve created for you.. a place where you can come to get the best music, that goosebumpin music, all day ery’ day.. Enjoy!
